  1. Most people want to be happier. There´s diverse oppinion on happiness, some says that happiness depends on the extent to which people have what they want. For example, most people want money, and those who make more money tend to be slightly happier. Nevertheless, other like me think that happiness is not having what you want, but wanting and enjoying what you have.

  2. Hi. The happiness is a word that much of us cant understund in the same way. For many people it is to have everything that other people have and feel happy with themselves but it is not like that, to be happy is to be with what little one has to know to value what little each one has and to encourage others to value for more That it is something of low balor but it can have a great meaning those moments of intense joy, stays with us for a while and that is the happiness that one has to want of what already has however many times we do not realize that We are happy with what we have and we want more without looking at what we have on our side.

I believe that you have to appreciate the things you already have. Not only material thing but also people around you make feel happy. About material things, you have to be grateful with your parents because they give it with effort and sometimes you don´t see it. Of course, be grateful with your parents and friends, they give their time that it´s a value thing too.

Personally, I think it's very important to appreciate that you have around, although not always have all we want. I love everything I have, and everyday I make an effort to get what I want.

    Yamila Moschen:
From my point of view, everything you have is what you or maybe your parents achieved by a big effort. Therefore, that's the main reason of why you have to appreciate what you have. That is to say, that everything you possess is a large process in your life so it is essential not to want more and more but also be grateful wanting what you have

Personally, I agree with all the girls. Many times we want a lot of material things that aren't necessary and if we can't get them we maybe get frustrated or annoyed while in fact, we should be thankful for all the oportunities we have and the effort our family make for us.
If we look around us, we can see the real important things in life as our family, friends and in my case, my pets.
My grandma always says to me: 'when you grow up you will appreciate
that the most important things in life aren't things'.

I agree with the girls, like them I think happiness shouldn't be so focused on material things, after all they're only temporary. It's important to appreciate what you have achieved through effort, also the people you can count on and what they do for you everyday.

I agree with previous opinions. I think that most people are happy to have material things, but very few are looking for happiness in the family, in meetings with friends or simply in the details that some people have with us. I think we must learn to live without expecting anything from anyone and learn to value what little we have, which is really worth a lot!

  13. How rewarding it is to read your thoughts on this issue! There are many ideas we agree on and even so each of you has managed to personalize the topic as well. That's very interesting, too.
    Keep on doing it!!

  14. Language note:
Compare the forms of the verb 'love' in these sentences:
'Love me like you do' (Ellie Goulding's song)
'Love' in its imperative form functions like a REQUEST here.
Now if you want to give an opinion, you should say:
'Loving what you have is the first step to happiness.' The gerund (-ing) form of the verb is the subject of the sentence.

  18. I think that happiness isn't depend of the materials goods or how much you have but how you value what you have, little or nothing. If we lives thinking about what we would like to have,we couldn't to enjoy of the things importants and we have at the moment. For example Our Family.
