I think the story is funny, but I don't like lie detector because all of us tell White lies or imagine that the detector ask you if you are fall in love and you say yes but the machine say FALSE and your boyfriend or girlfriend is looking at you.
I agree with Claudia.. I've heard that its depends on the tone of your voice. So if you want to lie, you can and the detector won't detect that, Obviously you have to know how it works and what tone you use when you lie or say the truth! haha
If the tone of your voice or mood affects what you say in everyday life, it sounds reasonable to say the same might happen to you in such a stressful situation. Also, sometimes we 'put other people to the test', which in my view is not a fair thing to do and it does not involve using a lie detector.
I really loved the story!!it shows us that we shoudn`t have a preconcept of someone who we don`t know. Refering to the question,I wouldn`t have problems trying the lie detector I think it could be a very interesting experience!!finally, I will discover if this machine works or not!!
