Cover me, will you?
To follow the discussion about music which we stared in class, let's share those covers which we like (perhaps, probably more than the original song)
Mine is 'We gotta get out of this place', by Bon Jovi. This is a live version which they did in an MTV unplugged concert. The original song belongs to The Animals and I've also seen Bon Jovi singing the same song with The Animals lead singer as a guest singer in one of their concerts.

ReplyDeleteI have a few favotites song´s covers: Calamaro performs ¨Whish you were here¨ from Pink Floyd, he really don´t do it very well but as I am his fan I love it anyway. Reciently I foound a new one ¨Take on me¨ from A-ha, performed by Annie B. Sweet, which is a more chill out version.

ReplyDeletethat would be the cover of the song i was talking about, the in-game original version, well, sucks in comparison. Love the voice of this singer, you can try and find the original song, i don't recomend it though

Black Sabbath is considered to be one of the pioneers of heavy metal, they' ve influenced a very large number of bands, and some of this bands decided to make an album with cover versions of Black Sabbath' s greatest songs, but there were too many songs to include so they had to do three albums, they' re called Nativity in Black (number one, two and three). A lot of bands participated in these albums some of them are Megadeth, Slayer, Anthrax, Pantera, Sepultura, Machine Head, and many more. I don't really think these covers are better than the original songs but they're great, my favourite one is Paranoid performed by Megadeth.
